Early on, we started looking for an all-in-one CNC solution. We considered an all-aluminum design, which is the lightest, but we found using all-aluminum made the smaller sprockets more prone to wear, as we use them most often.

So we ended up deciding to just use aluminum for the larger sprockets and high-strength steel for the smaller sprockets to balance strength, weight and durability.

3. Step 1. Mounting the cassette to the HG hub
   • When the two small sprockets are installed, the side with the word faces outwards.

4. Do not force installation

   Step 2. Install the lock ring on the hub

   Align the thread of the lock ring with the thread of the hub and screw in.

5. Step 3. Tighten
   • Tighten the locking ring with the cassette installation tool.
   • Torque is 30 - 50 N·m.
